After graduating from The UC Berkeley School of Law, Calley worked as a litigation associate at McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen (later Bingham McCutchen), primarily in the Employment Law group. She then took the opportunity to move into Bingham McCutchen’s newly created Attorney Development Manager position.
As an associate, Calley tackled numerous high-pressure situations on a daily basis. This experience provided her with an understanding of and empathy for the challenges that lawyers face as they navigate the progression process at a firm. It also gave her a solid foundation upon which she built Bingham’s Attorney Development Manager role. Calley acted as a liaison between associates, partners and upper management, ran the mentoring program, assisted with office workflow, and managed the associate review process. Calley’s experience in multiple aspects of the law firm performance review and progression process is invaluable in helping clients execute their own programs seamlessly.
